How CoolTone™ Works

CoolTone is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS) to penetrate your skin and the layers of fat. The high-powered coil electromagnetic stimulation induces involuntary muscle contractions.

Your body responds by strengthening the muscle fibers and causing enhanced muscle conditioning that results in a firmer and more toned and contoured appearance. The procedure takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the area being treated and requires no anesthesia. Are you a candidate for CoolTone™?

Patients with significant fat stores may not be ideal candidates for CoolTone. CoolTone energy used to power CoolTone penetrates to approximately 7 cm. Those with thicker fat stores may not get as significant of muscle contraction, resulting in less results following treatment. Pregnant and nursing females should not undergo treatment with CoolTone. Women who are close to menstruation may find that it comes sooner or cramping is increased or intensified with CoolTone treatments, therefore we recommend not undergoing treatment during this time of the month.

Possible contraindications to treatment include the following:

I visited the Christina Clinic almost ten years ago, and had an incredible experience. The staff were kind, very informed and experienced and always made me feel comfortable. I have very dark hair and olive skin, and from a very young age I was always self conscious and very aware of (what I thought was excessive as a kid) my darker ‘peach fuzz’ on my face. My eyebrows were thick and very usually (daily) required attention to keep them separate. Painful tweezing, waxing, shaving, the works… I’ve been incredibly pleased with the results, and after ten years, I’m going back to do it all again. … I love this place, and it’s changed my life.
