There is slight discomfort when injecting anything into the body, whether it is an immunization or cosmetic filler or neurotoxin. We may use numbing creams or apply cold compresses to relieve any discomfort.

Generally, Dysport may be the better choice if you need quicker results, are treating larger areas, desire a more natural appearance, have developed resistance to Botox, or prefer a treatment that allows for some muscle movement.

How long does is take to see results from fillers?

Filler results are immediate. There will be some redness and swelling. It is advisable to refrain from wearing makeup, excessive exercise, sun exposure, and unnecessary lotions and creams for 24 hours.

I visited the Christina Clinic almost ten years ago, and had an incredible experience. The staff were kind, very informed and experienced and always made me feel comfortable. I have very dark hair and olive skin, and from a very young age I was always self conscious and very aware of (what I thought was excessive as a kid) my darker ‘peach fuzz’ on my face. My eyebrows were thick and very usually (daily) required attention to keep them separate. Painful tweezing, waxing, shaving, the works… I’ve been incredibly pleased with the results, and after ten years, I’m going back to do it all again. … I love this place, and it’s changed my life.
